99 Nights in the Forest Camp Upgrades: Fire, Beds, Bench

Upgrading your camp is the key to long-term survival. Each upgrade opens new possibilities and makes every night easier.

Fire Level Progression

Your campfire has six levels. Each level expands your safe zone and unlocks more of the map, allowing you to explore further.

Higher fire levels give you a bigger safe zone to work in. Push the next level when you have extra fuel stockpiled.

While the fire burns, the Deer, Ram, Owl, and wild animals stay out of its safe zone. Cultists are the exception.

The crafting bench has three tiers. Tier 1 gives you the map blueprint, the most important item for navigation.

Tier 2 unlocks the Sun Dial and Farm Plot. The Farm Plot lets you grow food, reducing your need to hunt.

Tier 3 unlocks the Crock Pot, which turns raw ingredients into stews.

Beds are crafted at the crafting bench. They raise your day multiplier, so each night counts as more than one day.

Rescued children also raise the multiplier and set up tents near your fire. This stacks with beds, up to x9.

With a high multiplier, you reach day 99 much faster. Prioritize beds after securing your fire and map.

Place the Farm Plot close to your campfire so you can tend it without leaving the safe zone.

The Sun Dial helps you keep track of time for planning day trips. Keep it near the fire as well.

Plan where things go before crafting them so your camp stays easy to move around.

Start by stabilizing your campfire with enough fuel.

Next, craft the map at the tier 1 bench. It will guide your scavenging and hunting.

After that, level up the fire to expand your safe zone and unlock new areas.

Then craft beds to boost your day multiplier, followed by farm and cooking upgrades for steady food.
